Online Again!!!

Well due to high demand (and lots of nagging from Kate) I am back online!

I am not sure how diligent that I will be due to my busy schedule but I will promise to be better than 6months between posts. I really need to be inspired by great photos and well I must admit I have been terribly slack! So here is to a fresh start and a new template!

What a terrible admission but this photo is the last photo taken that has me and only me in it. It is a little ordinary. It is me with a koala at Australia Zoo if you were wonder what on earth I am doing?

Visit to Eumundi Markets

Well it is hard to believe that Pam and Flash were here in September and we are fast approaching December! I know that I have been slack and busy. When they were up for Annaliese's birthday we went to the markets. It was a great day and we had lots of comments about Meg (who is my friends baby). We had a nice time looking at all the things. Bit expensive but lots of great ideas and food.

What a Little Mother!

Annaliese is such a little mother. She reminds me of myself when I was a little girl. I loved to play barbies and attend to my babies just like she does. Her most favourite time is when Bella is a school and she has time to play with her babies. Baby Alive is her favourite and Annaliese treats her just like a real baby. She tells me that I have little Meggy and she has her baby.
It is so cute to see!

Happy Birthday to you!

Annaliese's Care Bear Cake!
After much deliberation here are the carebears sliding down the rainbow. Annaliese's fourth Birthday Cake was a huge success with her friends. It was just unfortunate that I had to tell them that I didn't make the bears only the cake part.
Anyway it all turned out great!

Annaliese turns Four!

Well it is hard to believe that my baby has turned four!
She is now a big girl! She was so excited to have a party with her friends from child care coming, Charlie and Tara. She had a wonderful time playing with them and showing them all of her toys. She had a Care Bears cake that looked great(thanks for Pam's friend in Adelaide making the bears). But on the night of her birthday we got donuts from the Donut King and made the shape of a 4. Annaliese was thrilled. Anyone for a donut now?

Oh No I am outvoted!!!

Here are my little girls all dressed up in hathorn outfits cheering with their dad!!! Talk about conditioning at its best. They even can sing the theme song and the high light of their trip to Melbourne was AFL World! I must say that"yes I am a little worried!"Of course Rod is in his element and can't wait to take them to a game.

Does this look familiar?

Here is Annaliese at the park recently.... however on pondering the photos I had a dejavu moment. So have a look at the photo of her as a wee little baby and tell me what you think? Funny how their personalities are there right from the start of time.

Future Fashion designer

Annaliese thinks that she has a real sense of fashion and
I just want it on record that I didn't dress her like this to go out.
At the moment it is her favourite look and most practical in the winter months.
Beautiful hey?

So High We Can Touch the Sky!

During the June School holidays, Fiona and Cheyenne came to visit.
One afternoon we headed to the Cotton Tree park for a play.
Isabella and Cheyenne were so clever.
They had a great time hanging around ... literally!

Gifts from Far Far Away!

Hey Nanny, what you think?
Great Fit... however Annaliese likes the bag and beanie
still can't get her to try on the jumper!
but the chocolates a hit...

Nanny's been knitting!

Here is Meg in her Cardigan from Nanny Taylor!
What a Cutie!
Thanks Pammy you have done a wonderful job.

Rub-a-dub-dub... Raah in the tub!

Bath Time for Raah!!!

A few weeks ago I spent all week trying to convince Annaliese that her Raah needed a bath. After careful consideration she decided to let me bath him on her terms, of course! He was not allowed to hang out on the line to dry and was to dry out in her room on the end of her bed. It was not long before she was walking around with him under her arm again BUT ...this time he was looking clean and smelling like soap!

Look at her go!

Here is Tamsyn having a ball at AusKick!
She is a champion little player!

My Little Chef

Annaliese just loves to help me with baking.
During Under 8's Day, I set her up with some of her own
messy play in the back yard with flour, rice and coloured water
to experient with.
She loved it!

Meg's First Under 8's Week!

Here is Bella and Lily looking after Meg as we went around to different activities. I think her favourite was watching the children dancing with different coloured ribbons. Hence we wore her out and took her home for a huge sleep.

Under 8's Week at Mountain Creek!

Here is Annaliese, Lily, Bella, Taylor, Jessica and Ian (Taylor's Dad) enjoying themselves at Under 8's Week at school. There were heaps of fun activities and things to see and do. I think they wore Ian out having such a fun time!

Look at those Choppers!

Meg's Got Two Teeth!
Here she is showing them off to everyone
and having a great giggle.
(5 months)

Jsjiah's lights up our day

On a recent trip to Brisy to do a few jobs, we dropped into wish Jsjiah a Happy Birthday and wish him a great day! We shared a cake for afternoon tea which he lit up with lots of candles.... He is getting so big now. Hard to believe really... it wasn't that long ago he was a baby getting into mischief with Cartia!

Persistence Award for Our Little Monkey!

Isabella received a persistence award on parade last week for being persistent at trying to master the Monkey Bars!
Apparently she was practicing hard to achieve this and was not giving up without a fight! I even noticed calluses on her little hands.
But she was very proud of herself and delighted in telling me she could do it on the way home in the car. We bought her the Bindi Urwin DVD to celebrate this, as it was her first award on parade given to her by the Principal, Mr McGowan.

Hand of God

"May the Lord continually bless
you with heaven's blessings
as well as with human joys."
Psalm 128:5 TLB

Pea in a pod

I love this photo of Rod and Annaliese.
It is when I see them together like this that I realise how alike they really are.

Like her spiderman tattoo? She thinks it is great! (Aunty Kerryn introduced us to tattoos at Dreamworld when she was up, thanks for that kezza! See what you have done to my little girl?

What a lovely couple?

What are you laughing at?

Annaliese took this photo for us that is why it is not quite centred
but it is better than some of the others,
let's say "they were artistic!"

Beneath the Lighthouse

I just liked this photo hope you do too?

Yeah Puddles!!!

Benny being a free spirit!
Like father like son,
hey Beck?

Mermaidia

Here is Amy, Hannah and Cartia finding sea urchins. All of the kids had fun exploring in the rock pools and squishing the Carnji (not sure if this is how you spell it?). But these three were the closest thing to Mermaids that we could see!

"Cheeeeese"

Annaliese, Cartia, Isabella, Benaton and Jsjiah lining up ready for food.... Birthday Cake , other goodies and of course cheese!

Catching up with Grandma and Grandpa

It was good to catch up with Grandpa and Grandma yesterday too. It was good to see Grandpa doing well after his eye operation last week. He had an adventurous trip to Tony's secret location which had him up and down big hills. But truthfully I think it made him feel young again. I am sure that they slept well last night, nothing like fresh air!

Summer's Dedication!

Whilst celebrating Summer's birthday we also shared in her dedication which was done by the family and witnessed by friends. Cartia also had a turn at sharing a special message to her little sister. Summer entertained everyone (must be a Moore.... loves the spotlight and does it so well). She was very cute!

Happy 1st Birthday Summer!

Today we celebrated Summer's First Birthday at Point Cartright beneath the lighthouse. It was a perfect afternoon in a picturesque setting! She had a fantastic time. It is hard to believe that it has really been 12 months since we visited Beck and her little bundle in hospital! Wow how time flies by.
